Citrix Workspace 1911 Download Windows

  • Launch a desktop desktop in full-screen mode. Then a scaled client resolution is applied to the session as expected.
  • Minimize Desktop Viewer window by clicking 'Home' in toolbar.
  • Unplug client machine network cable to simulate a network outage.
  • Wait for Session Reliability timeout reached and entering Auto Client Reconnection (ACR) phase. This is done by checking taskbar preview image of Desktop Viewer window, which will turn to black image once entering ACR.
  • Restore client machine network so that ACR reconnects back to the session.
  • Restore Desktop Viewer window from client-side taskbar. Then it is found that session resolution turns to original client resolution, instead of persisting the scaled client resolution.

Solution

Issue was fixed in Citrix Workspace App for Windows 1911 and above. Please proceed to update Citrix Workspace App client to 1911 or above to resolve the issue. Workspace

Problem Cause

When Desktop Viewer window is minimized in taskbar and network is recovering, ACR (Auto Client Reconnection) failed to enumerate client monitor layout so that it cannot calculate out the correct scaled client resolution and apply it to session. Alternatively, it directly sends the original client resolution to session.
