DropDMG 1.7, a tool for creating “.dmg” and “.img” disk images on Mac OS X, is now available.
The application can encrypt images and post-process them with GZip or MacBinary. DropDMG also supports segmented images and images that auto-open when you mount them.

Version 1.7 adds support for license agreements using rich text and may be localized. The image destination path is now stored abbreviated with a tilde, if possible, to help folks who have multiple boot partitions. The log is printable in DropDMG 1.7 and there are also some bug fixes and other tweaks.
